Meet the Game Guides
We're Craig and Jon (your Tabletop Game Guides). We've played a lot of tabletop games together.
In our lives, we have a bunch of fun friends and a bunch of fun games. We wanted to bring those two things together, so we started hosting game nights. As more people joined us and played, we had more appreciation for how games bring people together. And we wanted to pass that feeling along.
Having more tabletop players in the world is a good thing.
So we made this website. And we hope it helps you find games you love.

Craig
FOUNDER
Craig is a professional data wizard, an amateur 2-child jungle gym, and a board game evangelist extraordinaire. He has recently started a bookshelf turf war with his wife, and his board games are now making substantial territorial advances against her personal library.
Craig hosts a monthly group game night for his friends, and he also practices his board-game teaching skills on his two children (ages 8 and 11), both of whom are now experts at all sorts of games their friends have never heard of.
Craig firmly believes that board games have the power to bring people together, erase division, create joy, and basically fix everything that is wrong with the world today.

Jon
FOUNDER
Jon developed an affinity for board games early in his life; it began as a fascination with the miniatures in Hero Quest and grew steadily from there. He enjoys games that have a cooperative style to them, or games that involve some level of randomness to keep things interesting (and definitely any games with cool miniatures!).
As Jon has gotten more experienced with hosting game nights for newer players, he has come to love the way that board games can bring people together. He finds joy in sharing games with people for the first time, and finding tweaks to games that amplify the amount of fun the group has.
